SOSARI Consulting offers a range of premier consultancy services in research policies and management. We are the only Somali Institute in the region that offers consultancy and training services on research related policies, research programs, research directions, and report writing. Research organization, also referred to as research supervision, is a process that requires the establishment of rigorous policies and procedures before, during, and after the completion of conducting the actual research. In Somalia, the notion of leading and running research is still emerging and not yet fully matured, therefore, we at SOSARI Consulting understand the local gaps and the actual needs. Thanks to its effortless research team who spent a lot of the past years in multiple research job positions/projects engaging and working with the research community and who is knowledgeable of the existing challenges and needs of Somali research system? As a result, the research related consultancy services offered at SOSARI reflects extensive past and recent input from Somali’s research leaderships, researchers, and other significant investors. The Institute has been started with the aim of providing quality professional consulting services in a wide spectrum of areas ranging from Baseline Surveys, Report writing, Monitoring & Evaluation, censuses, and statistical analysis to Project Formulation, and Review/evaluation to Data collection, analysis and training. Although the Institute was established in 2016.

Technical Support
SOSARI supports organizations with all levels of technical staff for different projects in diverse areas. Our consultancy team includes a range of in-house research and evaluation experts including epidemiologists, statisticians, demographers, baseline surveys, quantitative economists, and public health practitioners. We also have a team of over 15 fieldworkers and data capturers. The team is supported by a fieldwork project manager and communications manager who ensure that deadlines are met, and communication is maintained with the client throughout the process.
Program policies and events
Somali Statistics and Research Institute-SOSARI engages in a vigorous agenda of a series of deliverables such as research, staging of important policy events, periodic policy briefs and publications, not to remark a continued interdisciplinary alliance with policymakers, the business and academic communities in Somalia and the region. As an indigenous Somali institution that is independent and impartial, SOSARI brings a unique contribution to the contemporary research debate and socio-economic direction in Somalia.
The Institute also provides technical and advisory support to the federal government and regional governments, civil society, regional and international organizations, in a variety of policy matters including inter alia; Social policy research, health research, census, demography, socio-economic analysis. Somali Statistics and Research Institute-SOSARI bring together indigenous Somali professionals, with diverse skills and expertise in various fields.
